Polished Concrete
Polished concrete is usually but not limited to a six step process utilizing diamond resin pads. Concrete is not considered polished before 800 grit and is normally finished to either be 800, 1500 or 3000 grit level. Dyes designed for concrete polishing are often applied to add color to polished concrete as well as other options such as: scoring, creating radial lines, grid, bands, borders and other designs.

Concrete sealers are applied to concrete to protect it from surface damage, corrosion and staining. They either block the pores in the concrete to reduce absorption of water and salts or form an impermeable layer which prevents such materiel from passing.
